David has dedicated his professional career to the Hospitality and Summer Camp industry. David’s passion is summer camp, and specifically the community that is built through shared unique experiences.
David’s 30 year career journey brought him to be a senior executive in a large hotel chain before he left the corporate world to follow his passion of running a summer camp for children. After 10 years of running a camp, and seeing the pure fun that children were having, David and his wife Gayle felt why can’t we do this for adults. In this overly connected world, David and Gayle purchased Club Getaway to focus on creating a camp experience for everyone. Their belief is that life is an adventure that should be shared with others. They live the four pillars that Club Getaway is built upon Fun, Freedom, Friends and Adventure.

Gayle started her career as a High School Math Teacher. She followed her passion along with her husband David to run a summer camp for children.

Hunter started his work in the Camp Industry in 2019 and at Club Getaway in 2020. With his background in Customer Service and Hospitality, Hunter aims to create unforgettable experiences as the Weekend Director. At Camp, you can find Hunter hosting Crazy Olympics, down by the waterfront, and meeting every new friend possible!

Pauline Jepson has been a part of the Camping Industry for close to 30 + years, starting her Camp Career as a Camp Counselor way back in 1989. Pauline then went on to become, Head Staff, Assistant Director, and Director. Pauline has an extensive background in camp management, program planning, staff development and communicating with families on a regular basis. Pauline is committed to providing Club Getaway guests and families with the best possible experience.

Leslie has been at Club Getaway for over 40 year. She meets coordinates all private events and weddings at Club Getaway.
